I HAVE CHANGED THREE FUEL PUMPS. CAR STARTS OFF AND SOON QUITS. AFTER IT CUT OFF AFTER THE FIRST PUMP I CHANGED I NOTICE THE PUMP WAS GETTING HOT. AND THE SECOND THE SAME. THE THIRD PUMP, THE CAR RAN A LITTLE WHILE AND QUIT AND THEN WOULDN'T START ANYMORE UNLESS I POUR GAS IN THE CHAMBER. I TRIED A COUPLE OF THINGS, I TURNED THE SWITCH ON AND HELD A TEST LIGHT ON THE WIRES ON THE FUEL PUMP AND I NOTICE THAT I GET FIRE FOR ABOUT 45 SECONDS AND THEN NOTHING. THEN I CHECKED MY FUSES AND WITH THE SWITCH ON ALMOST NONE OF MY FUSES LIGHTED UP. BUT WITH THE SWITCH OFF THEY LIGHT UP.I NEED HELP

Ok let me say upfront that there isn't a whole lot of info for the the fuel system on this car so I will do my best. Now with that said lets check the fuel pump relay. Locate it in the main fuse/relay box. Now make a jumper wire and jump between term 30 and 87 (use the bottom of the relay or schematic on the relay) you should now hear the fuel pump come on. If it does then I would replace the fuel pump relay. Let me know what you find.
