The truck has a misfire on cylinder 6. How do I tell if the coil is working properly?

If it was missfiring on cylinder six chances are its not the coil as a coil usually shows up a random misfire code not just one said cylinder.

Autozones will test them for free.

Post back if you would like some causes of missfire.
