Engine Cooling problem
2000 Mazda Truck 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I asked about the OBD II not working. Someone answered me and I did what they said. And the engine light came on. I waited to see if someone would check to see if I replied and I never saw another response to my reply. I sent an email to the webmaster asking about replies here if people checked them and waited about four days no answer from them either. So I wanted to ask again if the OBD II is not working and the engine light comes on when the key is turned on but not the engine is there something else I can check to see why it is not working? Thanks,

Hello

I read over your earlier posts and you say that the engine light is working. However, most scanners require that the engine light be illuminated (not just the bulb test with engine off) before they can scan for any codes. Does the engine light stay on with vehicle running? Is the scanner reading "incomplete" or is just just a blank screen?

Additional information about gathering incomplete readings on the OBDII can be found at the following link..
