Mazda RX7 1985 high idle when engine warms-94K

My 1985 RX7 will accelerate when I'm shifting gears instead of dropping to an idle. When shifting to a higher gear the car will jump forward when the clutch is let out. When standing still and not in gear, the car will eventually return to idle but very slowly.
