I purchased a 99 mazda protege ES. Car was in storage for a week, was in a very minor fender bender (the rear was slightly tapped) old owner got a new vehicle so I decided to take this one that's in good condition off his hands. The trunk wouldn't shut there for the trunk light stayed on and killed the battery while in his garage. The battery is brand new, so we charged it. No start. We swapped out the battery. No start. When you open the door, no interior lights go on. If u turn your head lights on, the dashlights will also come on, but the radio will not respond, nor the windows, ac, locks, moonroof, etc. It's as if all the things that have fuses for them in the interior, are not working. Could this be a relay? And If so, which would it be?

Hi andrewgram,

Did you check the fuses in underhood fuse box?

One of the main power supply seem to be missing and the fender bender could have result in something shorting out the fuses.
