Computer problem
1996 Mazda Protege Front Wheel Drive Manual 143000 miles

Heres is the situation. The engine light came on, EGR sensor, so I changed it. Then the code for a Mass air flow sensor showed up didnt change that because that went away and the MAP sensor code showed up. So then I go get gas one day and accidently over filled the tank, But then the check engine light went away for a little while untill the next day. So someone told us it might be the Fuel pump because the computer wont show that. So I changed it and the check engine light came back on after the battery being unplugged for an hour, it came on within 3 miles. Now someone is telling us to try the ECM or ECU.

What could be causing the codes for all these different sensors to show up all the sudden?

Maybe you were mistaken on the number, but if it said map sensor then I would change it, this sensor monitors load, and change in elevation, so it is very important. Then have is scanned again to see if there is any more codes and also you can clear the mapp code
