1993 Mazda Protege engine acceleration

I put my foot on the gas pedal engine slowly raises up to speed this is when im driving the car by the way its a protegedx if that will help and also the car blows out blue smoke out of the tail pipe. Just put a new timing belt on the car. THE car had plenty of power before I changed the timing belt.I purchased a new timing light to time my car and accidently drop it so did not get to time my car. I got semi close so may be that could be the problem. If you would please let me know what could be the problem. Thank you
