Mazdaspeed 3 cold air intake

Hi to everyone. I'm a new member and hope I stumbled on the right web site/forum. I am the proud new owner of a mazdaspeed3 [2007, 2.3 L turbo], and would like to install a cold air intake. Q is: is there a standard part #, in other words, is the CAI for my car specific, or is it the same as a mazdaspeed6 [same engine]?

i haven't seen many ads for a cai specifically for the speed3, and would like to save a few $ by buying one that is not ms brand [$300+].

Since your vehicle is a new MazdaSpeed3 I would not recoomend that you install any aftermarket accessories as this will void your warranty.

That's not true.I just got back from the dealership where I bought my speed3. If you let them install the intake it is covered by your vehicle warranty. Yes it's a bit pricy, but it's worth it. Right now you can get a 15% discount on accessories.I paid 499 for parts and installl. Next week I'll have the new exhaust installed. Which they also have to do. It has to be welded. But covered under the mazda warranty. ZOOM ZOOM!
