Computer code 1500 says speed sensor

The car will not idle unless I keep gas pedal pressed.
computer code says speed sensor. So I assume that its on autotransaxle. I have a cd on car repair that shows that code but won't tell me where the sensor is located. Can anyone help me

I don't know about your car, but on my 2001 Mazda B3000 pickup, it's located on top of the rear axle differential housing. 1 small wire lead to it. Easy to replace. Hope this might help you.
