94 Mazda Navajo 4.0 6cyl, registering code 327(EGR valve pressure transducer/posistion sensor below minimum voltage). Car seems to run fine at idle, when accellerating it starts to shake and shutter. Egr valve looks good, holding vacuum. What is most likely culprit.

Idles smooth? Could just need the EGR position sensor.I have a feeling the shaking is a different problem. Has the car been tuned up?

Car has new plugs and wires, at part-throtlle in first gear you dont notice anything, once I shift into 2nd and at about 2700rpm car starts to shake and shutter, if you push in the clutch it goes away and runs fine again, in neutral the engine doesnt really display any problems. Can it be something in the drivetrain? Why would it stop just by pushing in the clutch? How come I can drive in first without the symptoms showing? Any ideas for me? Like I say the only code I show is 327 but I have been told a faulty egr causes like symptoms, is this true?

Usually if the EGR pulls on too soon it will cause a lean condition/stumble, does it do it in 3rd or only 2nd?
