2004 Other Mazda Models Two Wheel Drive Manual 13CC miles

the aa checked the engine code and it read p0410 it was said to mean secondary air intake malfuction I have had an engineer look at it he has checked the air pump and valves and vacuum but said he can find nothing wrong he got in touch with a mazda dealer and was told it could be the "cat" but the engineer checked it and can see nothing wrong on the outside of it. The car has no pulling power so im stumped as to what it can be please help thanks.

Check back pressure of the exhaust to make sure the cat is not plugged. If you have more that 1 psi pressure your exhaust is restricted
