2002 Other Mazda Models white smoke when starting car

I have a 2002 mazda tribute lx v6. I bought it from my aunt and she ran it to high hell but it still runs fairly well. Recently, I changed the oil and since when I start the car, it blows a huge white smoke cloud. The smoke seems really thick and lingers for about a minute before dissipating. What do you think it should be?

Hi there,

Check that the coolant level is not going down, as this smoke may be an indication of a head gasket problem, you can have a test done to determine if there is exhaust gases in the cooling system, get this done first.
