I have noticed in the past couple months my clutch fluid has been just under max. It's been about a 1/8th or a 1/4th of an inch under the max line. I read in the instruction manual, to make sure it's always at max. That gave me the impression that the clutch fluid has a reason to get low. Does clutch fluid burn off from driving? There doesn't appear to be a leak as there are no spots on the ground after I've parked. I've added more each time and now I check it more often. Is there any other reason you can give me for the fluid loss?

Hi there,

You will have a small leak, you will have to peel back the rubber boot on the slave cyl at the gear box and check for any fluid there, if so it will be leaking, also the master can leak, but this is a bit harder to see as you will have to look under the dash and see if there is any sign of fluid where the pedal push rod enters the back of the master cylinder if so this will be leaking as well.
