I have a 1994 mazda mpv v6 auto, a/c, 115,000miles, replacecomplete front half timing belt, water pump, gaskets, belts, ect. Engine starts and runs good but found oil in the cooling system but no water in the engine or trans oil. Installed external trans cooler, flush out coolant, oil keeps coming out, trans ok.
Maybe oil passage pluged? Pcv valve?Note when oil filler cap removed engine rpm changes. Need help in hawaii

If you have found transmission fluid in the antifreeze, you may have a leak in the radiator.

With your idle change, I would suspect a plugged pcv system. Not sure about the coolant in the oil other than cracked block or head?
