Good morning:Ihave the mpv 1996 130000 miles the last week I change the oil and buy slick 50 one week later
my car have strong noice never in the past have the same noice after change oil. The noice start after use for first time slick 50. My question is the slick 50 afect the motor. My second question is what procedure flowup for my proplem and what oil require my mpv mazda 1996. Thank

There is really no need to put additives in motor oil. You don't even have to buy name brand motor oil; Wal-Mart brand will do the job just as well for half the cost. Just do the oil changes at proper intervals and save your money.

If you have lifter noise in an MPV.

There is a chance that one or more of the HLA (hydralic lash adjusters) have worn out there seals and no longer do their jobs. If you have noise and then it goes away, there is a chance that he lifter shafts have worn down and it takes time for oil pressure to get to said HLA's.

Both repairs are expensive.

Your choice, live witha bit of noise or pay alot of money to fix it.

Although prolonged noise will do damage to the top of the valve stems
