It seems that my car's engine is revved up while I am idling although it's not trying to take off. I noticed my tach moves. My temperature gauge shows 1/2 way up when before this starting happening, it was below 1/2 up. Would I perhaps need a new thermostat. Is there a such thing as a fan thermostat separate from the other thermostat? Is there a sensor for this? Also, this past summer, my AC never got really cool air blowing out like it was last year. I take it you realize this has been going on for several months. I can hear the fan going really loud especially after I put it in park. It sometimes will stay on for a few seconds after I turn it off which I think is normal. Something is not right about this. I don't want to get ripped off.

Hello, did anyone ever resolve this question? I have the same model and year, same problem. I live in China, and the authorized Mazda dealer doesn't know how to fix the problem because the MPV is not marketed here, and he is unfamiliar with MPV problems. Thank you.
