I've been having problems with my MPV. At first, it was hesitating when I hit the gas just a small bit, but then it was to a crawl. While driving it sounded like the engine was revving, like I was taping the gas, but I wasn't. I live in the hills, and going up hill I would have to put on my emergency lights because I would barely make it home. When it started up it sounded like it was going to die, so I'd have to tap the gas to keep it going. Right now it's dead. It tries to turn over but doesn't. When trying to start it, it sounds really rough and the whole thing shakes. I haven't had any problems what so ever with it until this. I think it may be the fuel filter, but it could be something more serious. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Lets do below for a start to determine if its fuel or spark related issue and get back asap.

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
