Engine Performance problem
1993 Mazda b2200 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My 93 mazda B2200 boggs around 2000 rpm then will not accelerate bucks and sometimes even loses power. It seems to run better if you lift off the gas, if you try to push the gas it boggs worse. Any ideas?

(not certified but I grew up on a junk yard)

Try checking your Tranny Fluid.

If you have a god amount then take it to get a tune-up and ask them to look at the transmission. Is this problem happening in a certain gear or all the time?

Certain Gear- your transmission might be having problems

All the time- Transmission fluid might be low. If not then check your fly-wheel for any chips, nicks, or cracks.

Is it fuel injected or carbureted? Timing advance, TPS, EGR, ECM.
