My truck has been very good to me since new. However lately it's been stalling in the spring rain/humid conditions. Two months ago I got a tune-up, wires, plugs, coil. The positive of the tune-up is that now I can take off with-out fully warming up the engine, before that it was not possible, but now I have this stalling in rain, first time ever! Pretty much everything is original on it. Oxygen sensor was changed 6 years ago as well as the carb. The carb usually idles a little iradicly at stops, but I'm not convinced thats the problem? The car drives nicely when gas is pressed, no issues on motion. I just drove the car on a none rain day and did not stall. Thanks for some advice!

Next time you're in town, pick up a tube of "silicone dialectric". You can usually get it at most parts stores. Liberally apply it to the spark plug boots, coil connections and everything around the distributor. This should take care of it. If not, let me know and we'll go to plan "B", whatever that is.

Well, I haven't used the vehicle very much lately, since my last request. I still notice strange idle fellings on rainy days but never got to drive it far, maybe 5-10minutes. I purposely used it today on a rainy day expecting some problems. Well I needed a tow, Only happens on rainy days, I was able to re-start it three-four times but dies right away, then I was unable to start at all, even though the rain stop and somewhat cleared up. I had put that silicone u ask, and todays, I even sprayed some WD-40 for last resort. What do u think?
