1993 blower motor

Got a 1993 mazda 929 heat/ac control works put a blower motor in but I checked the motor befor I put it in and it works straight wired doesnt work when hooked up in the car. Any body got a sug? Thanks

Look for a resistor pack between the control switch and motor.
