My car has been acting funny, why is the o/d light is flashing on as I drive? It's a automatic transmission.

That usually means your tranny is having problems. With what im not too sure I dont like to deal much with transmissions, too many if ands or buts, but I certainly would post in the correct forum and see if that may turn up what the problem may be. Good luck :)

Your o/d light is flashing because there is a fault in your powertrain control management. It's most likely an electrical fault, possibly a stuck solenoid. Disconnect the negative battery cable for about 15 minutes; this should reset the light. If it comes back on, then have the system flushed and filter replaced before going any further. If you have a scan tool, see if you can pull up any codes. Also, check for the obvious--low fluid, clogged filter, etc. I wouldn't recommend attempting any transmission repairs without extensive mechanical knowledge.
