1993 Mazda 626 cuts out

Hello

I have a 1993 Mazda 626Lx with 165,000 miles, it has the 2.0L engine and an automatic transmission, after the engine gets to operating temperature and you are at a stoplight, the engine will speed up and drop down, it will also try to cut out. Do you have any advice for this?

For a start check the idle control or speed device might need cleaning also investigate the EGR could be cracked open by carbon. And also the TPS.
