Car door stuck

I have a 2001 626, and for no reason at all, the passenger door all of a sudden stopped working. It is stuck and will not open. The power lock works fine still though.

Any idea why this could have happened and what to do to fix it. I was planning to take a look inside but I thought I should post the question first.

I just looked at it from the window track. And the mechanism inside the door works fine. I don't know what the hell could be wrong with it.

Any ideas?

I finally found the reason and solution. The problem is loose screw of door latch. When it gets loose enough it hitches for hook screw and privents the door from opening. I've used a pribar to move the door forward for about 1mm. From inside, and the door has opened.
