2000 Mazda 626 overheating

Overheating iv e put water in the reserve tank and I put water in the radiator directly. Then I notice the air bubbles some water. Coming out of the side of the water reserve tank.

How much coolant was used to top up the radiator?
Did you perform bleeding of the system after topping up?
Did you check the condition of the radiator cap?
Did you overfill the reserve tank?
