Interior problem
2000 Mazda 626 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am working on this car, here's the situation. On the pass. Door, door will not open by either the interior or exterior door handle. Resistance is felt when pulling either door handle. I need into the door, any ideas? I can tell the rods are still connected to the interior handle, not so sure about the exterior handle ( I think it is).

Did u fix that door latch? I have exact same situation. If u did it would be helpful a lot sharing ur solution before I torn that door apart. Thanks!

I finally found the reason and solution. The problem is loose screw of door latch. When it gets loose enough it hitches for hook screw and privents the door from opening. I've used a pribar to move the door forward for about 1mm. From inside, and the door has opened.
