The problem is that two pipes under my car are not connected. I'm not sure if they were welded together or clamped together. I cannot find the clamp so I'm thinking it was welded. Anyway, I don't know what part it is exactly and which parts I would need replaced. It seems to be a pipe from the catalytic converter to the muffler, but the piece that I think is a muffler is much smaller than most mufflers I've seen so I'm not sure. I could point it out if someone has a diagram. It lies almost in the dead center of the car. Does anyone have a diagram? I feel like this is something I can fix myself so let me know if I need a pro.
Thanks!

So I found the diagram through an article on Auto Zone's site. I believe the part I need to replace is the pre-silencer. Is that all one piece? Is it multiple pieces welded together? When I buy this part at the store is it called a muffler, front muffler, pre-silencer, or what exactly? The link below is what I think I need. Please confirm or deny for me.
Thanks!
