My check engine light has come on and I went to get the codes read. Its puttting out lean on bank #2 and Malfunction on air flow metering. I have tried cranking my car and it will not start. Then I went on bout 20 mins ago and it started right up. Well now its back to not starting again. I am wondering if this is my o2 sensor or my MAF sensor. Will a bad o2 sensor keep my car from cranking? I know a MAF will do that, I've seen it on a nissan before. Can someone please give me sum kind of insight into this problem or where to go with this?

Hello,

No a Bad O2 Sensor will not cause a not start/crank.

Try disconnecting the MAF in some cases disconnection it will cause the computer to signal a default setting and the vehicle will run normally.

If the above happens replace MAF.
