1996 Mazda 626 4 cyl Automatic

HELP! My 1996 mazda 626 eclipse has started to stop on me while driving. I will be driving and it will just conk out? Today before it conked out I felt a shudder then about 100 metres later it just stopped. I am able to restart it without a problem and can keep driving and it feels ok. It doesnt do it all the time - about once a week? Any clues? Thanks so much in advance

Hi there,

I would be having the fuel system check and the pump pressure & flow rates check, as I feel it is not electrical (ignition) as if it was you normally have no warning just a dead engine,

start here.
