The trans shifting work's great some days and other it does'nt it can'nt make up its mind would the powertrain control module have anything to do with that or is it a other senser on the trans. It has to be somthing electrical or it would do all the time or am I wrong.

Hi pattisonmark,

Thank you for the donation.

Yes, problem is more likely to be electrical control and the PCM could be the cause. Mostly it should be some sensors not working correctly and it could be due to wire harness connections.

Did any warning indicators shows when the problem was evident?

Possible causes are :
1. PCM.
2. Throttle position sensor.
3. Speed sensors, input or output.

I would suggest retrieving for trouble codes to find out if any are stored.
