Hi there,

Start with the heather tap, the valve may have failed and will not close off, How do the control levers feel, do they move with little or no resistance, or very tight? a control cabe bay have siexed or broken, this is a bit of a tricky one for home mechanice so you bets get it checked by a work shop before tearing into your dash.

Jackie - I'm wondering if you ever fixed this problem. I have a similar problem with my 94 626, except that I cannot get heat. I discovered that I don't have a cable, but an electronic control switch. I haven't been able to replace it yet, to know if it solves the problem, but am curious about yours. Let me know how it went.

Thanks!
