Transmission swap?

Hi, just wanted to know if a 2006 2.0L Mazda 3 transmission would fit a 2004 2.0L made 3. Asking because I know the TCM is integrated to the ECU in the 2004 model but is separated in the 2006 model.

The electrical plug is a good indication if the transmission will be interchangeable. If the transmission looks the same and the plug matches you should be okay. Upload image of anything you need clarification on please.
