I know that the reason our car has been stalling is because of the MAF sensor, but I need to know what I can do at home to fix it, or find out how much it would cost to replace it. Pleease help, this is the absolute last thing I need to happen right now.

Mass air flow sensors are replaced, not repaired. The cost depends on where you buy it and the brand. You can look up costs on the web sites for the major auto parts stores.
