Manual window crank spring clip

I have recently removed the manual window crank on the drivers side of my Citroen C1 2007 Cool and would like to know from anyone which way round the spring clip goes, as this sprung off on removal so I’m not sure which way it is fitted as I would like to fit it correctly.

The clip is not flat, the bottom part of the prongs are set at right angles, so does the bottom part of the prongs clip on facing the handle and nylon washer or does the right angle part fit facing the inside of the door and the recess of the handle spigot.

I purchased a Haynes manual and it only shows the electric window type so is of no help at all.

Does anyone have a diagram of the door panel that shows the removal of the panel and fittings?

Any replies and help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply but I don’t have a picture as I have replaced the window crank back on the car, I am still unsure if I have fitted it the correct way round.

Most window cranks are flat so you can’t fit them incorrectly the one on my Citroen C1 which by the way is the same car as a Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107 has a right angle on the bottom of the prongs, so there must be a correct
