My car has a very rough idle. It's been losing pressure a lot. It loses pressure to the point where I have to pull over and restart my car to regain the pressure. I recently had a diagnostic ran on it at AutoZone and the only codes that were triggered were p0236 and p0237. It said that I needed to replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor. The thing is, the ETS (electronic throttle system) light is also on in the dashboard of my car. However, the diagnostic didn't say anything about that. Could the MAP sensor be causing the ETS light to come on? Or could the ETS be causing an error code on the diagnostic pertaining to the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor? I'm working on replacing the MAPS sensor at the moment, however, the throttle is a pretty expensive repair and I don't want to replace it if it isn't needed. I need a professional opinion.
