Makes a loud click when turn the key. One click for each turn. We have replaced the starter, battery is fine all connections clean. Even checked wiring to starter. This is the third starter in three months. What is going on? The first time we changed the starter it worked fine for a month.

The click is the starter solenoid engaging that throwing the Bendix into the ring gear, there is a heavy contact switch built into the solenoid when it engages the main current flows and energizes the starter. So either the contact is not making a clean connection, the Bendix is not engaging the drive plate or there is no current flow or a high resistance. I do feel that the problem is in the actual starter, or main power from battery. One other problem you do see occasionally is that the starter tooth count is not correct and after a short time the starter fails due to binding up. This may be worth checking out as well. Unfortunately, I do not have a tooth count for your starter or drive plate.
