MAF issues, code P0101

6.0 blew up put in 5.3 from heads to pan used 6.0 intake and injectors runs fine, but check engine light comes on with p0101 code (maf). I have cleaned it also changed the to the one from the 5.3 cleared codes many times. Truck runs fine but light comes back on. Thoughts?

I posted possible reasons for the code.

You cannot clean a mass airflow sensor. The part that reads the air temperature gets hardened carbon burned on to the tip. There is no cleaner for that.

Also, the part for the 6.0 is different from the 5.3. It may be the sensor itself. You may need a sensor for a 5.3. The Ac/delco numbers are different from the 6.0 to the 5.3.
