When cold the engine starts up and runs at to high of an idle and when you hit the throttle the engine rpm is slow to come back down. Once it has warmed up the throttle responce seems normal. But the engine feels and sounds like it going to shut off just for an instance. All most like a miss but does not feel like a miss. Also the lights will dim and back to normal along with what the engine is doing. It sets a code P0174 system too lean Bank 2. There are three lights ont the cade reader I am useing Green, Yellow and Red for the emissions system. When the engine is doing it's thing the red light is on. The alt output is 14 volts.

Check the intake manifold for vacuum leaks, very common problem.A cold rough idle that diminishes as the engine warms up.
Possible DTCS P0171, P0174, or P0300.
Random misfires at idle. The intake gasket seals may be leaking around the intake ports, causing a lean condition. The intake gasket seals may leak around the bottom side of the port, making it a challenge to detect the vacuum leak. If leaking intake gasket seals are found, replace the intake gaskets, The intake plenum should also be checked for excessive warpage that may cause an uneven clamping pressure of the seal.

Brian 1 Thank you for the responce. The idle is not rough when cold it's more when it's warm that the miss starts. Is that still an indecation of intake gasteks and would that cause the exissive high idle and slow coming back to idle when you first start it and it's cold?

Yes it is an indication of an intake gasket because you might have a vacuum leak somewhere along the intake gaskets, you can spay carb cleaner around it and see if the idle picks up if it does thats where the leak is. Check this first could be other problems.
