Lug nut siZe

I have 5 x 12x1.5 lug nuts for my wheels. I need to know whether or not a wheel with same tire threads and bolt pattern would fit on my wheel locks. The bmw series 3 wheel has 17mm lug nuts. My wheel currently has 12x1.5 lug nuts. Would it fit on my car or not I'm not sure and I need a new tire desperately and am stranded right now and someone is selling this tire and wheel for cheap

Not necessarily. There are other factors that have to come into play such as the offset of the wheel and the clearance built into it. The type of seat on the lug nuts matters also.
