Lower ball joints wearing out

I just replaced the front passenger side lower ball joint a few months ago. Now I had to replace it again it was shot. Why am I replacing it so soon?

Good afternoon,

Did the ball joint come with a grease fitting? If it did, it had to be greased when installed. Also, when you grease it do not grease it until the boot breaks. That will open the boot allowing outside environment into the joint causing it to fail.

The ball I used did not have a grease fitting the first one didn't and the one I just put in there did not.

I am not sure but the first one only cost $20.00 and this one I just put in cost $12.00.

Okay, cheap is never the best.

You need to get a quality ball joint such as a MOOG. I always use them and have no issues with premature failures.
