Low speed stalls

Wife's car. When backing out of parking spots, slow turns or coming to a stop, the car stalls at low rpm. Replaced the automatic idle sensor(IAC). Checked for vacuum leaks. Fuel sending unit in tank replaced a couple years ago. I was reading an answer to another driver with similar issues. I am going to go on highway, get up to speed, then coast for 7 seconds, see if the computer needs to reset due to battery being disconnected when battery was changed. T uh is problem has been going on off and on for a few years. Does not happen all the time. Sporadic. Confusing.
