Low oil pressure light and knocking at idle?

Car started saying low oil pressure when came to a stop, engine knocks fine while driving. In the past month I've done upper and lower intake and just finished replacing timing cover gasket. Last week the car was running great for a day or two but would throw a lean code and occasional misfire code, then the oil pressure thing happened. I can start it cold and can barely hear it but it's there and seems to be coming from timing area.

Hi,

If the oil lamp is on and you are hearing a knock when at idle, we do have a potential issue. Does the sound go away when the RPMs are increased?

Also, is it possible for you to record the sound and upload it for me? If so, pay attention if it is louder under the vehicle, on top of the engine, and so on. If you hear it approximately near the timing chain, see if it is low or high on the engine.

If this started all at once, there is a chance the pick-up tube on the oil pump is partially plugged.

Also, confirm the oil isn't contaminated with coolant and is still clean and full.
