Low oil alert

What does it mean when my low oil alert comes on? It is full when I check the oil level.

Hello Don, Audi's have had many issues with the oil sensor. Also, at times the wiring can be bad or chafed or chewed on from a mouse or something. After working at an Audi dealer for so long I have seen all sorts of issues, but your issue is localized to the oil level sensor, it is not reading correctly. Hope this helps, Lou.
