I removed the battery cables to clean them. Now the engine idles at about 1000 rpm and then drops down to 500 rpm and has stalled on me once or twice. Also the passenger air bag light is off now.

PROBABLY LOST IT'S IDLE MEMORY

MOST LIKELY NOT THE END OF THE WORLD!

YOUR OWNERS MANUAL MAY GIVE YOU AN OUTLINE OF HOW TO MAKE IT LEARN IT BACK FASTER.

IF NOT, TRY THIS

TAKE THAT PUPPY TO A NON-BUSY STRETCH OF ROAD

GET HIM UP TO 60 MPH THEN TAKE YOUR FEET OFF OF THE PEDALS

LET HIM COAST DOWN AS FAR AS HE WILL COAST (IT PROBABLY GONNA HIT THE POINT WHERE IDLE KEEPS IT MOVING, UNLESS YOU ARE PULLING A HILL)

MAKE SURE THAT, THAT ROAD RAGE-ER AIN'T BEHIND YOU!

LEMME KNOW IF THIS WORKS FOR YOU
