My car will turn over but not start and the mechanic said that the engine has low compression. The throttle body was rebuilt but still same thing. What could be the problem?

Here is a guide that goes over the causes of low compression. However, if that is found then that is the reason for the no start. So we would need to identify why it has low compression. Did they give you a reason for the issue or just tell you it was low?

Clearly this is not a little issue. Most all the common causes of low compression require taking the motor apart if not replacing it. So we need to be sure to find out why it has it and go from there.

Let me know what you find. Thanks
