Engine just started making loud clicking noise that increased/decreased with acceleration. Acceleration became very sluggish and seemed to want to stall when idle.

Good afternoon.

Did the oil light come on?

Did you check the oil level? It could be a lifter issue or worse like a main or rod bearing failure.

Can you post a video with the noise?

I did not check the oil level. Just had the oil changed about 2,000 miles ago. All the instruments (oil pressure, temperature, battery) appear normal on my dashboard gauges. Sorry, cannot post a video. The truck is already at the dealership.

Okay, then possible issues are as I stated. It could be lifters or lower end such as main or rod bearings.
