My rear seal was leaking. On way to repair shop. Oil light came on notice oil pressure is at 12lbs. I shut it down. Now it will not even try to start. Why?

Hello, I am Danny.

It is a security feature that disables the engine to not start due to lack of oil/oil pressure. Have the oil system including pressure checked. After pressure is normal car will start. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
