I thought I could take out the ignition and start it that way before I remembered the pats in it. It was in the off position and I got the cylinder out with some work. What do I need to do to put a new cylinder back in and do I have to get the keys programmed or is there away to do them myself? Thanks

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions for your vehicle from the the manufacturer on the removal and installation of the ignition lock cylinder. You will have to have the new keys programmed either by the dealership or by a locksmith. These are the only two options available. This is intentionally done to keep thieves from being able to go around stealing people's vehicle's. Have a Happy New Year.

Thanks,
Alex
