Hello and thank you for using 2CarPros. What is going on with the A/C system? The amplifier only effects the servo motors. Are you experiencing cold on one side and hot on the other? If you are let us know if the driver side and passenger side have different temperature differences? You may just need a calibration since replacing the amplifier will require you to calibrate as well. Let us know please.

The first thing you need to do is have the A/C module scanned for codes. You may want to try a battery reset if you do not have a compatible scan tool Usually disconnecting the battery will reboot the control module. As far as the amplifier location, the image I got suggest it is part of the climate control head.

You need to have the system scanned for codes and post them on here to see what is going. It would need to be an advance scanner to check the A/C control head for codes.
