I have a stock LM 7, 5.3 doing a swap I wanted to get the Summit racing PR368107 Pro LS Piston and Rod kit. Using my stock crank, going over by.030 and same length rod. These pistons are 7CC dish and the stock ones are 8CC, that shouldn't make too much of a difference should it? I am going to use my stock 862 heads also.

Thank you for the help!

Good morning,

No, it should not make any difference at all.

The 8CC makes the chamber a little larger but fuel mapping from the ECM will adjust for that.

Hey thanks so much for watching! Just like Roy said, that will not make much of a difference at all. You will just get a tiny bit more of compression out of it but the fuel mapping will adjust.

You're Welcome! One last question for you guys. What injectors to use? I am going to run a Holley Terminator X EFI system so I'm just not sure whether to run the EV1, EV6 or multec style injectors and what size? This car is just a cruiser so no need for huge HP.

Thanks again.

EV6 is a good all around injector to use for this project.

Okay, last question I promise, haha. If I run with the 2CC dome pistons and take my CR to 10.9:1 with 61cc heads (assuming they are, I will verify what they actually are) I don't see that higher CR being an issue. Correct?

Thank you for the help. Question about DBW throttle bodies. VI see just about every DBC throttle body has a boss for a IAC and TPS but when I look at just about any DBW body there is never a boss for a IAC, and sometimes not even a TPS. What's the deal with that? Is there some other place on the manifold to connect the IAC? I want to run a Holley Sniper manifold and from what I see on those there isn't any place for that either.

Thank you.
