THERE IS A BUBBLING SOUND COMING FROM THE DASH OF MY CAR THAT ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE POPCORN POPPING OR WATER BOILING, AND WHEN I CUT OFF THE AIR/HEATER IT STOPS. THERE IS ALSO A MUSTY SMELL COMING FROM MY VENTS.

please refer to the TSB Lincoln issued regarding the blend door actuators going nuts, especially for two minutes after shutting the vehicle off.
